Eraser Block Printing

Join artist Kimberly Sewell for this fun intro to block printing: pink eraser printing! Design your own hand carved stamp using the provided erasers and learn the basics of block printing. This workshop is suitable for beginners, but not recommended for small children as we will be working with sharp tools. All supplies provided. Students will leave with their completed stamp and a bookmark decorated with their design.

$15 per person

Rock Wrapping

Join Carrie as she guides you through the meditative process of rock wrapping.

Workshop includes

  • a rock
  • 6 yards of leather
  • a needle to help manipulate the leather
  • a cloth gift bag to carry your rock home.

Learn the basics of how to condition clay, mix colors, and cut shapes before baking and assembling.

No experience needed; perfect for beginners and students

Molten Magic – Short & Sweet Realistic Encaustic Painting

Learn how to create realistic paintings using the ancient medium of encaustic, hot wax
painting. Students will use the Encaustic Stylus Pro and Crayola crayons to create a realistic, molten-wax flower painting. This workshop is for students of all levels – if you are looking to explore a new medium or perfect your encaustic practice, join us! This workshop is NOT recommended for children under 13.
Please note, hot wax can aggravate those with sensitive lungs.

All materials are provided by the instructor at a cost of $10 for UNM and CNM students
with ID, or $15 for non-students.

- Crayola Crayons
- One 4x4inch wood panel for painting
- Cotton cloth
- Image and transfer paper
